Romania is situated in the South-East part of Europe.
It's neighbours are Hungary and Serbia onto the West,
Ukraine and Republic of Moldova onto the North-East and Bulgaria onto the South,
having at the same time a coastline at the Black Sea in its South-East part,
of aproximatively 225 km.
By it's position in the lower Danube area, almost all Danube Delta it's on romanian ground.
As geographical reference points, Romania is situated at the
25° East longitude and 46° Nordic latitude.
As surface coverage, Romania takes about 237.500 sq km (about half of France area)
being 514 km long from North to South and 720 km long from East to West.
