Getting to Romania is nowadays very easy due to Romania's geographical position,
and due to the fact that Romania is listed as destination for most transport companies.
Conditions for passing the Romanian's borders permit citizens of European Union, United States of America,
Canada, Japan, Swiss, Australia and New Zealand stayings up to 90 days without visa.
Citizens from Turkey are allowed to stay up to 60 days, and ones from former East European Communist Block,
up to 30 days.
By plane you can get most easily here. Romania has a number of 17 civilian airports (biggest of them being Bucuresti,
Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Constanta, Bacau, Iasi, Suceava, Targu-Mures si Baia Mare).
Romanian airlines companies (TAROM, Carpatair and Blue Air) have a flight schedule enough for
tourists and comercial needs of Romania.
Another option for getting here is by train. There are international daily trains
which link big cities (Brasov, Sighisoara, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Bucuresti) with the main Central Europe's cities
(Munich, Prague, Venice, Vienna, Budapest) and other areas (Sofia, Istanbul, Kiev, Moscow).
Romanian road network, which develops fast, make possible the arrival here by bus.
Daily buses link Romania's big cities with the main transportation nodes from Europe.
You can get here also by boat. From Passau and Vienna there are boats which have their final destination
Danube Delta.
Another alternative for the above transportation means, especially if you want to enjoy independence and
flexibility on your transportation between Romania's boundaries,
is by car, the access roads being wellknown already.
